5-Week Mindfulness Course for Pre-Teens
Please note the following: ¨►- This 'live' online mindfulness course starts on Thursday 14th May at 3.00 pm. ►- This course is for 7 - 12 year old children. ►- Booking one courseplace entitles all children in your family to participate. ►- Child participants must be accompanied by an adult family member. ►-The email address used to book a course place must belong to the adult family member - not the child.
Learning to practice mindfulness is one of the most effective things your child can do to improve and enjoy all aspects of life more with less stress, depression and anxiety from the inevitable circumstances in life.
Practicing mindfulness helps children to be aware of the present moment, instead of worrying about past or future events and circumstances.
It involves paying attention to our thoughts and feelings in a way that increases our ability to manage difficult situations and make choices which are more beneficial and advantageous.
With Peer 2 Peer Mindfulness, the decision to start practicing mindfulness couldn’t be simpler; your child can complete the 5-week course on your or their phone, tablet or computer.
The 5-week course is easy-to-follow. Your child will be guided in each weekly 1-hour online session by our experienced mindfulness tutor and in a few weeks can be rewarded with mindfulness skills that last a lifetime!
After each weekly online session you will receive a handbook and meditation audios to help your child develop, step by step, a mindfulness practice in their daily life.
The 'Password' and further details of the process for joining the 5-Week Mindfulness Course for Pre-Teens will be sent to you after you have booked your place online and we have confirmed your participation via a video call.
The Peer 2 Peer Mindfulness 5-Week Course for Pre-Teens will commence on Thursday 14th May (2.45 pm for 3 pm Start) via the internet app 'Zoom' enabling you and your family to participate from the comfort of your own home. Once you book your place on the session you will be sent the details and password which will give you access to the live group session. I look forward to meeting you there.
