Cultivate the heart of Self-Compassion

Self-compassion “involves treating yourself the way you would treat a friend who is having a hard time. . .
. . . a practice in which we learn to be a good friend to ourselves when we need it most.”

(The Mindful Self-Compassion Workbook by Kristen Neff, PhD and Christopher Germer, PhD, 2018)
This gentle Self-Compassion Retreat day offers a unique  opportunity to build a strong foundation of compassion and learn to support yourself through life's inevitable challenging moments.

Self-compassion can open up the doors to our happiness and our day-to-day joyful mood and experiences.
It allows us to love the wholeness of who we are, in every situation, by inviting the wholeness of our emotions.

By developing our self-compassion, every difficult situation we go through increases our self-love and self-confidence, rather than deteriorating it.

Learn how to cultivate and transform your mind, body, heart, and life through the healing meditations of compassion, expanding and deepening your sense of aliveness, self-compassion and well-being.

This retreat is for you if you have done an 8-week mindfulness course and you:
  • would like to connect more with the qualities of the heart, such as compassion, kindness, gratitude and joy.
  • want to deepen your mindfulness practice and learn a new set of practices within this approach.
  • find yourself criticising or judging yourself harshly.
  • want to learn wiser and more helpful ways to relate to difficulties.
  • are interested in understanding yourself better and learning how and why we get into unhelpful patterns.

Join us and come together with other like minded people to nourish our minds, bodies and hearts for living a happy, healthy, abundant life.

Through our desire to make a difference in these times when every penny counts in the home, the trustees of Peer 2 Peer Mindfulness have decided there is no fixed fee for participation on this self-compassion retreat day.
You are invited to make a donation to Peer 2 Peer Mindfulness which will be used to provide mindfulness for underprivileged groups and individuals. Please set your own donation amount.
