Our Mindfulness Based Living Courses, held in Galashiels, Hawick, and Kelso will introduce you to the core skill of mindfulness and support you in developing present moment awareness: a way of paying attention, on purpose, non-judgmentally to what is happening in the present moment within your mind, body and the world around you.
Instead of worrying about past or future events, mindfulness helps you to be aware of the present moment, in a non-judgmental way, . It promotes a way of being that helps us to take better care of ourselves and lead healthier lives.
The weekly course sessions are suitable for anyone over 18 years of age who wishes to spend a little time out of their busy week to develop inner resources for coping effectively with stress, difficulty and illness.
You will be guided compassionately during each weekly session by an experienced Mindfulness Association approved tutor.
Practicing mindfulness meditations can be extremely beneficial in reducing stress, anxiety and depression, enhancing emotional and physical well-being, boosting happiness, and improving relationships as we connect more authentically with others.
