"Mindfulness restores us to our wholeness" ~ Jon Kabat-Zinn
We teach mindful ways to replace stress with more kindness and happiness in life.
Peer 2 Peer Mindfulness is a registered charity (SC051472) teaching secular mindfulness to the community of the Scottish Borders.
We provide free-of-charge, high quality, secular mindfulness courses to the general public, to ensure that an individual's financial situation does not restrict them from receiving the stress relieving benefits that mindfulness provides.
The benefits course participants tell us they receive include: reduced stress, depression and anxiety; increased emotional resilience; improved mood; increased positive emotions; increased self-confidence, increased happiness; higher quality sleep; and higher levels of empathy and compassion.
Peer 2 Peer Mindfulness aims to enable and nurture a growing community of secular mindfulness practitioners from all walks of life. We do this by inspiring people to live and work according to mindfulness principles, for the sustained well-being of Scottish Borders families and the community as a whole.
Our team of mindfulness trustees, volunteers and tutors volunteer a lot of their time to make all of this happen. Even with their kindness and generosity, there are substantial costs involved in making our mindfulness courses happen.
Donations enable us to continue offering free mindfulness courses to people in your town. Every donation helps, whatever the amount, and 100% of your donation goes directly towards the course costs.
