Secreted in Old Melrose Estate, one of the most beautiful parts of the region, our Mindfulness in Nature Day is carefully designed to enable you to reconnect with your true self through nature.

We humans are part of a dynamic ecosystem that is life on earth. We are nature, and mindfulness brings us home to nature.

Scientific research has shown that practicing mindfulness in nature, particularly in forested areas, can have a hugely positive impact on mental and physical health.

A day devoted to Mindfulness in Nature will allow you the space and time to relax and unwind from the stresses of normal life, and drop into a deep inner peace.

Participating in our Mindfulness in Nature Day can lessen the tendency for our minds to wander, allowing us to remain in the present moment instead of being lost in thoughts and becoming emotionally overwhelmed.

This Mindfulness in Nature Day is an unforgettable opportunity for you to just 'be you'. With nowhere to go, and nothing to do, just to be there, for yourself.

The Mindfulness in Nature Day runs from 9.00 am until 5.00 pm with breaks for tea and lunch. We provide breakfast and tea, coffee and biscuits throughout the day.

Through the kindness of Old Melrose Estate, you are invited to join us on this special day as a way of deepening, consolidating, or re-invigorating your mindfulness practice for the benefit of your personal well-being.

Old Melrose Estate.

This Mindfulness in Nature Day is for people over the age of 18 who have participated in a tutor led 8-week mindfulness course.

The day will start at 9.00 am and finish at 5.00 pm.

The venue will open from 9.00 am to allow you the opportunity to enjoy a delicious and free continental style breakfast in the serene, natural beauty of Old Melrose Estate. A breakfast in nature is a wonderful way to start your day in allowing you to connect with the environment on a deeper level. The sights, sounds, and scents of the natural surroundings create a tranquil atmosphere that promotes relaxation and mindfulness.

There is no fixed fee required for participation on this Mindfulness in Nature Retreat Day.

As a charity, Peer 2 Peer Mindfulness does have significant costs in providing its free-of-charge services.

We invite you to make a donation to Peer 2 Peer Mindfulness which will be used to provide high quality mindfulness courses and retreats that remove all financial barriers to participating. Please choose your own donation amount which recognises what you can afford at this time. Please contact us with any questions you may have about this?

Once you have reserved your place on the Mindfulness in Nature Day, you will receive an email providing you with further information about the event.
